Green Signs

Making a commitment to the environment is a must for businesses of today. By introducing several new sustainable products into their manufacturing processes Baron Sign Manufacturing is able to meet these commitments. Energy efficiency, cost savings, environmental air quality, minimal impact on the environment and community are considered from initial design to final completion. The products used by Baron Sign Manufacturing to make sustainable signs include: LED lights, photopolymer, recycled and rapidly renewable material as well as low VOC Matthews's acrylic paint coatings.

LED Illumination

Baron Sign Manufacturing has implemented the use of low voltage LED lights for illuminating their signs. This lighting option has become their standard illumination choice in all possible sign systems. LED illumination is much more energy efficient, longer lasting and cost efficient. This saves clients time and money.

Water Soluble Photopolymer

Baron Sign Manufacturing is instituting the use of photopolymer into their interior sign product line. This material is sustainable because of its base material and water soluble etching layer that gives emits no harmful chemicals during processing and the byproducts do not cause harm to the environment.

Matthews Acrylic Paints

Baron Sign Manufacturing uses Low VOC (volatile organic compound) Matthews acrylic base polyurethane as their standard paint coating. Matthews is an eco friendly paint provider. When this paint is sprayed using a specialized High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) paint sprayer superior color coatings are achieved while emitting minimal over spray and waste into the atmosphere. When at all possible they use a solid digital print to coat materials such as windscreens and banners which eliminates VOC emissions altogether.

Through conscious material and production choices Baron Sign Manufacturing is making the future a better place through custom Green Sign production. They can create a Green Sign for any business seeking to achieve LEED credits under the U.S. Green Building Certification Rating System, (USGBC).
